10 Things Your Children Love

Children don't require a lot of money, and they don't require a master's degree. Children are the simplest minds to understand. They require very little from life other than you. Children are tiny little you's and me's. This is about all they need...Children love: 1) Touching You 2) Getting a smile from you 3) Looking into your eyes 4) Playing with you 5) Singing and Dancing with you 6) Snuggling with you 7) Talking with you 8) Helping you in anyway 9) Fixing your hair 10) Being with you! Farm Love

I just came home from a trip out to my soon-to-be home, and wanted to share a few carefully selected photos. Don't be overly jealous about it, because I've chosen to take pictures of beautiful things, and entirely skipping the messy parts. (there are many) This is all I have for today. I am rejoicing in God's goodness of sending this property our way, and counting the days until it's time to move. Enjoy the slideshow and I'll see you all next week! Sarah

Home Is Where The _____ Is.

There is a wonderful old saying that we all know that goes like this; "Home is where the heart is." When I think of that phrase I get a list of things in my mind. Mom - working, cooking, loving and caring for the whole family Dad - coming home from work and giving mom a big kiss children with the smell of the great outdoors on them  Family dinner and lots of chatter Work days around the house Laundry, dishes, and chores Smiles at seeing your house after a vacation or long day of grocery shopping Backyard Baseball Lemonade Stands Home is our safe zone, our haven. As children, it's all we know. It's something we look to for memories and the "good old days". When I think about the phrase "Home is where the heart is" I think of family unity, I think of family discussions, (including arguments), and a home utilized for family, friends, and hospitality.
