It's 40 degrees and raining here in Kansas City. It's dark and a little foreboding, hardly any sign of fall is left. People have raked and bagged, mowed, and vacuumed up all of the beautiful leaves to save their lawns. (notice I haven't had a post that I'm thankful for living in the city yet.)
I AM thankful for a cozy little apartment that I can decorate like home and fill with warm and inviting things. I am thankful for hot cups of apple cider on cold fall days to cheer me up and make me thankful for what I DO have. Now I just need to find a good book to go along with my cider!
