Spring Cleaning Challenge - Day 18 Vacuuming

We are nearing the end of our cushion week. I hope you have enjoyed it. Today you might need some help as we will be moving furniture. We will be vacuuming the living room (and for me the dinning room too) and mopping the dinning room.

CHALLENGE:
Clean the living room and dinning room floors. I have carpet in my dinning room, so I will be vacuuming everything. Most people will probably be mopping the dinning room and vacuuming the living room. You can mop the dinning the same way you did your kitchen. When you vacuum the living room (and whatever is logically attached to it; wether that be an entry way, hallway, etc...) pull out the furniture against the wall and use the hose to vacuum the edges. Also move smaller objects and vacuum under them. Essentially you are trying to vacuum every square foot of carpet.

If you have hard floors all through your living room, give it a good sweep and mop. You will also need to move items to get to all of the floor.

DIY Window Cleaner

Day two of our prep work for the Spring Cleaning Challenge! Today I'm going to give you a recipe for window cleaner. I've also been told that using warm water and a little bit of cornstarch is a great way to clean your windows as well. I don't have a recipe or a ratio for you though. Spring Cleaning Challenge- Day 21, Shower

I hope you had a wonderful weekend, celebrating Easter with family and friends. This week we will be focusing on the bathrooms. (I hope you don't have very many) Because I'm not getting this post out till late morning you might consider swapping today's task and tomorrow's. If you get up early and have already taken a shower you might not want to clean the shower today. Instead you can jump ahead to tomorrow and clean the shower curtain and liner. Then tomorrow morning when you take a shower you can clean it. Do whatever works best with your schedule. CHALLENGE: Clean you shower(s) till it sparkles.
