I hope window washing is going well for you today. It's 37 degrees and cloudy with a chance of rain here, not a super good day for washing the outside windows. Tomorrow doesn't look much better. But this challenge isn't all about perfection, it's about being flexible too. I don't even have time to wash my windows today, and I wonder if God allowed it to rain so I would't feel so bad about it!
Tomorrow's challenge is washing down the walls. This project will differ for each person especially by wall type. If you have glossy walls you might just do a spot cleaning and if you are feeling adventurous maybe even do some paint touchup. But! for people like me who live in a "Spread your money, spread your paint" as far as it goes apartment building...We have some work to do! My walls are painted with the thinest cheapest paint there is. I have to wash lightly or i'll take off most of the paint. I usually spot clean the marks (with a magic eraser, or a sponge and baking soda) and then lightly wash over the rest of the wall.
CHALLENGE:
Wipe down all of your walls, top to bottom. Scrub hard, wash lightly, spot clean or do it all, it's up to you. You might consider running a broom or duster through the corners first to catch any cobwebs before you start.
EXTRA: if you have fans you will want to wash them down first! They will get dust everywhere, so make sure they are done before anything else. You don't want to be backtracking! Consider taking out the light bulbs, washing the globes and changing any blown out lights.
Are you getting a late start like me? What kind of walls do you have? Any tips on how to clean them?
Sarah
